If you gravitate towards dark or neutral colored clothing, I can relate. But the warmer weather encourages us to ditch dark outfits for something bright and colorful, which is why I am challenging myself to change that habit by incorporating more colors into my everyday wardrobe. Brighten up your closet, and swap out the blacks and whites with these basics!
1. Color-Block Collarless Blouse from Sentubila
Work-appropriate blouses with personality can create a lot of impact at the office. I like how well this cleverly paneled piece drapes over a tailored pair of dress pants. Tuck in for day, un-tuck for night.

Denim hardly pairs well with flashier items, at least in my closet. However, this slightly ripped pair can make an edgy and feminine statement. Not only is it fit for a creative or casual office, but it also makes for chic date night looks!

What color is appropriate for both work and play? Cobalt blue is a bold favorite of mine, and a lightweight, versatile trench coat is an easy pick to rock this brilliant hue. This feminine topper is sure to look great with dainty gold accessories and nude pumps!

This lovely orange pencil skirt is just as ideal for casual looks as it is at the office. I’d love pairing it with hot colors such as fuchsia, but if your office is more conservative, a crisp white blouse will be enough to set you apart.

Ankle boots are one of those staples that’s reliable, easy to wear, and is often underrated. Thanks to its refreshing hue, this pair is exciting enough for punching up white and light-colored neutrals, which are essentially the palette of all my office outfits. With the right pencil skirt and blouse, it can make for a very stylish look for the office.
