Okay okay, I know, those bare ankles HAVE to go, but I couldn’t resist posting this look from not too long ago – when it was just cold… not the Arctic. As with the amount of snow that’s falling down at the moment, our only option is to go out in full snow attire, BUT – needless to say – the pink Balenciaga scarf is 100% weather appropriate! And I’m so glad I can finally wear it. It’s been hanging on my clothing rack since my birthday – thank you again MyTheresa – but it never REALLY hit that point below zero where I “needed” to wear it. In all other cases, it’s one scarf too warm. Balenciaga does that so well; their winter coats and scarfs are the best out there, and definitely the warmest.
Forgive me, as I, too, feel slightly repetitive praising the brand so much these days, as – truth to be told – their SS18 collection is not that refreshing compared to SS17 – but I just love what they do. They brought color, they brought pattern, and they brought the inspiration to mix and match the unexpected. Which I love. I have worn their knife boots on so many occasions. I remember the first pair I received, in Burgundy. Those weren’t the best, but the second pair in nude are still one of my most favourite pairs in my wardrobe. Now of course THE Tripple S sneakers… I can go on and on.
Anyway, point is: Bundle up my fellow New Yorkers. It’s going to be a cold and snowy weekend!
