Without further ado, let’s begin the review!

1. RiRe Style Black Head Brush Cleanser (20ml) | Full Size
This blackhead cleanser is all the rage right now. The design looks great – a silicon brush head releases the cleanser from a hole in the middle when you press the button on the side. However when I grabbed it with my left hand, I realized the design isn’t meant for southpaws like me. The button is on the right and you probably want your thumb there so you can press firmly. Anyway, the design keeps my hands clean and I can always rinse the brush, so I can’t complain too much.

The cleanser itself contains black rice, black soybean and black sesame extracts, and appears as a pearlescent gray cream. It foams up only slightly and doesn’t irritate at all. However I don’t find it very effective as my whiteheads seem fewer but the stubborn blackheads remain. I’d prefer something stronger, like My Scheming’s Blackhead Removal Activated Carbon Mask Set.

2. Etude House AC Clean Up Toner (15ml) | Sample Size
This toner is formulated with salicylic acid and hinoki cypress extract to fight acne. It feels a bit drying but considering it’s for acne-prone and probably oily skin, It succeeds in keeping sebum out.

3. Etude House AC Clean Up Pink Powder Mask (20ml) | Sample Size
This wash-off pink mask reduces blemishes and prevents acne with natural kaolin, zinc oxide, salicylic acid and hinoki cypress extract. In fact, it looks very much like a post-mosquito bite treatment that I used before. The pink cream smells of lemongrass, is quite spreadable and dries in 10 minutes. It’s also easy to wash off. This is the first pink powder acne treatment I’ve ever tried. It does help to mildly ease my skin’s redness but unfortunately my acne spots remain.

4. Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack (20g) | Full Size
I’ve tried Benton’s Snail Bee High Content Essence and this one is essentially the sheet mask version of that. The essence doesn’t drip, and is dense and very nourishing. I also like that it’s not scented. The mask itself is made from thick fabric and looks small but can cover my entire face.

5. REPIEL Smart Hair Mask Magic Steam (1 piece) | Full Size
Among all products, this one is the most fun. The hair cap is really big. It consists of a waterproof outer layer and a mesh inner layer holding a good dose of scented cream conditioner. Simply put on the cap, tighten it with the adhesive and massage your scalp. Rinse after 15 minutes to reveal smooth and shiny locks.

6. COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch (1 sheet /24 pieces) | Full Size
I’ve reviewed Mentholatum’s Acnes Medicated Anti-Bacteria Spot Dressing and compared it with other brands, including COSRX’s. The COSRX one is my holy grail so I always have it at home!

7. AGATHA Essentiel Emulsion (10ml) | Sample Size
8. AGATHA Essentiel Skin (10ml) | Sample Size
9. Etude House Honey Cera Cream (10ml) | Sample Size

I put these three in one photo since they aren’t really my type. The AGATHA Emulsion and Skin are strongly perfumed which I don’t like. The small opening makes the Emulsion hard to pour out and I also find the milky texture a bit sticky. The Skin feels like aromatic oil and sadly I’m not into oils. Etude House’s Honey Cera Cream smells of, what else, honey and is very nourishing, although I find it a tad too greasy for my liking.

10. Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Pocket Lip Balm (3.8g) | Full Size
I absolutely love this one! The pocket-size panda case is adorable, and the lip balm spreads on super nicely. It’s only slightly tinted but has a moist, glossy finish, which means it’s very controllable. I also love its fruity fragrance.

All in all, I recommend items 2 to 6 and 10. The box is an introductory kit to a Korean skincare regimen, so I hope you find it useful and find products that you like. And of course, who doesn’t love the gift box? My cat surely does!
