Summer fashion

Social media can be helpful for offering fashion and style ideas. I personally rely heavily on street style bloggers for the latest trends and inspirations every season. One look at their outfits, and I’m convinced that glove heels are worth investing in, and that a leather trench is wearable for weekend brunch dates. Here are ten trends from the street spotted on repeat. I’ll probably be wearing these for the rest of the year!

1. Rib-Knit Top with Extra-Long Sleeves from WITH IPUN

Keep the sleeves extra-long to the point where you can’t see your hands – there’s no need to roll them up! Executed with a minimalist aesthetic, this rib-knit sweater is pleasantly wearable. Just go with skinny jeans and white sneakers on dressed-down days.

2. Faux Leather Trench Coat from DABAGIRL

Looking for a trench coat? I’d opt for a quality faux leather version with a bit of sheen like this incredibly versatile and edgy layer. Pleather is always in!

3. Minimalist Linen Jumpsuit from Babi n Pumkin

Jumpsuits are always chic. This season I prefer them to be sleek and minimalist like blazer and tux pants. This navy blue edition can easily be dressed up with slingback heels or ankle boots, though the linen fabrication lends itself towards more casual dressing.

4. Wide Leg Pants with Gold-Tone Buckle Detailing from GUMZZI

Every boss lady needs a good pair of tailored pants. If you survey the streets, you’ll find many women sporting the wide-leg variety. I love how the gold-tone buckles on this sleek pair add polish, while the subtly frayed hem keeps it casual.

5. Elbow-Sleeve Twill Dress with Self-Fabric Belt from Cherryville

Given its elbow sleeves and forgiving silhouette, the millennial pink shift dress is appropriate for any fall event, from weddings to date nights and even the red carpet, as recently demonstrated by the adorable Selena Gomez. Never underestimate how chic a head-to-toe color can look!

6. Faux Leather Bustier Top from DDADDADDA

The corset has become more than a stylish accessory for highlighting the waist! There are various strappy and lace-up styles out there, but my favorite is this loosely knotted edition that has a carefree vibe. Wear over a plain button-down or dress. Explore layering possibilities.

7. Faux Suede Slingback Glove Heels from MASANDCHRIS

I love the snug and fit gloved shoe and the various color and style iterations seen around these days. I’m not all-in with the skintight fit when it comes to heels, but I can get behind these sleek, slingback block heels are a more understated take on the trend!

8. White Leather Slip-Ons from DANI LOVE

Just as white shirts are a staple, white plimsolls have become a must-have too – at least from what I’ve been seeing around. These athletic kicks give full skirts and dresses a bit of edgy flair. You can even wear them to temper fishnet tights and leather mini skirts.

9. Hoop-Accent Bucket Bag from OrangeBear

As seen recently at global fashion weeks, the ring bag remains ubiquitous. Why not tap into the trend with this easy-going bucket bag? It’s the little details that set the look apart.

10. Tassel Earrings from Chlo.D.Manon

Sometimes all you need is just a pop of color. These bold tassel earrings easily brighten up any outfit. Keep the rest of the look simple and let the fringes do the talking.
