After four cities’ worth of runway shows, we start planning our fall outfits like clockwork. Even the streetstyle looks are the best yet, with bloggers and celebs delivering on inventive styling in epic proportions. If the most stylish women on the planet are weary from almost a full month on the road, you wouldn’t know it. Prepare for bolder colors, more frills, and some serious workwear updates. I’m gladly taking on the task of reprocessing the lovely looks we just saw. Here are some of the pieces I will be wearing this fall:

1. Peplum Blouse with Frills from DABAGIRL

The peplum style has returned! This innately flattering cut is all about the fit-and-flare waistline. Opt for this crisp, wrap-around version for a ladylike twist to your 9-to-5 repertoire.

2. Neutral Spaghetti-Strap Wrap Dress from J-ANN

Neutral tone-on-tone looks are huge this season and beyond. Layering understated hues on each other gives way to full-on neutral looks that look polished but not flashy. This spaghetti-strap tie-waist design makes layering a breeze.

3. Off-Shoulder Frilled Top from Cherryville

This spring is essentially about frills, and designers are flaunting the architectural detailing well into fall. This flowing number will look so good when paired with ripped jeans and strappy sandals.

4. Nude Tailored Pantsuit from DANI LOVE

Menswear-inspired pieces are everywhere on the runway, and the pantsuit game remains fierce as ever. If full-on checked suiting is too much, this nude-hued pantsuit may be your choice. Appropriate for almost any occasion, this versatile combo will give your fall workwear essentials a new attitude.

5. Bodycon Dress with Sheer Inserts from UUZONE

A slash here, a slit there – the ever-alluring sheer cutouts are here to stay. This neutral number is loved for its intricate chevron sheer panels throughout, which make the cuts look even more striking. It’s the best way to reveal a little skin in fall.

6. Oversized Day Dress with Frills from Myrtle

Architectural ruffles are all the rage, as seen on runway looks from day dresses, evening gowns to T-shirts. For a wearable take on the trend, I’d go for this simple mid-length dress. The breezy, wavy hem and fierce hue give a dramatic taste of femininity.

7. Dip-Back Midi Skirt from clicknme

It looks like our beloved culottes have some competition for fall, for midi skirts are back in favor of designers’ creative iterations. Trending or not, the midi is a great staple for the office. I love this slit version with a dipped hem. It goes with essentially anything.

8. Glittering Tiered Midi Skirt from Cherryville

Metallic is making a big comeback, popping up on suits, evening dresses and even your everyday midi. Swathed in silvery glitter, this tiered style couldn’t have come at a better time. The versatile hue allows it to be dressed up or down easily.

9. Silver Baseball Jacket with Satin Finish from Miamasvin

Having been shy of the shiny, I have yet to own a metallic jacket, but seeing trendsetters in their shimmery toppers has swayed me. If the longer length is too much bling for your taste, try shorter versions like this easy-going baseball jacket. Pair with tougher separates to temper the glossy finish.

10. Utilitarian Ankle Boots from DANI LOVE

The sturdy utilitarian ankle boots have been unexpectedly on trend, so these ultra-practical kicks will likely dominate my footwear choices comes fall. Aside from being an essential for the rainy season, they are surprisingly versatile, being able to seamlessly punch up casual looks and contrast feminine accessories.
