It’s funny to think that when I shot this look (it’s one of two looks I shot for Vogue Japan) it was high-summer, and high-summer comes with a level of humidity that’s just insane. So you can imagine, three layers of knitwear was not easy to pull off, let alone look good…
But somehow it worked, and I LOVE the way it turned out – as well as the piece that came out in Vogue Japan last month. I so wish I was wearing this exact look today, when it’s too cold to go out without a coat, yet “warm” enough to still have bare legs. Though “the off shoulder way” would not have been a good idea… Anyway, this whole knitwear look has made me super excited for winter, so today it’s probably a good time to start with the knitwear section in my wardrobe, and decide what’s to keep, and what to sell..
