Mariah Carey knows how to enjoy her holidays! The singer celebrated Christmas in Aspen, and part of the holiday fun included a shopping spree for herself, of course! So what did Mariah gift Mariah? A Christian Louboutin-designed Louis Vuitton Shopping Bag – part of the ‘Celebrating Monogram‘/Iconoclasts collection. The collection was designed by six creative iconoclasts: Frank Gehry, Cindy Sherman, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Newson, Rei Kawakubo and Mr. Louboutin.
The $5,150 Shopping Bag combines all of the elements that mark a Louboutin creation: touches of red, studs, and bows paired with Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram canvas. The main features include Toron handles, a red calf-hair back and dyed red edges, studs on the front outer pocket and knotted leather ribbons. There are brass studs on the bottom and inside the red calfskin interior you’ll find a center zipped pocket, a large flat pocket and double smartphone pocket. The bag is a huge splurge but Mimi’s certainly got that kind of money!
