I care a lot about my skin, so the journey to find the perfect skin care routine is never really over. The past years I’ve tried many different beauty products, some were extremely expensive, but didn’t give me what I was looking for, others were simple drug store brands and did the trick. I believe it doesn’t matter what brand is on the bottle, but that you use what works for your skin, what gives you that amazing glow, and helps in getting closer to that “perfect skin” feeling. SK-II is one of those brands. One I always knew about, but never used before. So the excitement when I got to try their new Facial Treatment Essence was big, and quickly it became one of the most important parts of my routine….
For those who don’t know, SK-II is one of the leading brands in Asia. It was on my have-to-try-list for a long time! But why? What did I hear about the product that made me so inclined to try? And did it live up to my expectations? And so, my #OneBottleAwayFrom journey begins with transforming my damaged from the sun skin into the perfect weather proofed skin!
My experiences after using the SKI-II Facial Treatment Essence for one month…
- It’s the secret weapon to calm, hydrated skin; Sometimes I get slightly irritated skin around my eyes after using make-up removers – no matter which ones I use – and using a cotton wool pad with SK-II’s Facial Treatment Essence, seemed to reduce those irritations. A little after, I would apply my night cream as usual. No weird feeling of an extra layer, nor did it make my skin uncomfortable in the process.
- No matter how many skin care products you already use in the morning or at night, SK-II Facial Treatment Essence should not be missing from your routine; At least, that’s how I feel about it. As it “prepares your skin” for absorbing your serum and/or moisturizers, it’s worth the extra step in my routines. I use a cotton wool pad or I put a little bit in the palm of my hand, and then I press it softly over my skin and neck.
- It’s the perfect base for any other skin care product you normally use; I didn’t experience any issues using SK-II Facial Treatment Essence in combination with the products I already used, so for me it seems the perfect base for both my morning and night skincare routines.
- Also, very important; it’s extremely easy in terms of use and it literally takes a moment to do. Meaning; whatever routine you already have in place right now, it’s not much extra “work” adding this step into it. Especially for me, as a mother and business woman, things need to be quick and easy, with maximum output. This took me one cotton pad with SK-II’s Facial Treatment Essence, 5 seconds of patting onto the skin – which I could do longer if I had more time – and the result is nothing but positive, which are basically listed above.
So basically; I think it’s never too soon to start taking care of your skin, nor too late. It’s worth the investment and the time, because in the end, we only get one skin, so we should be treating it the best way possible! And as you know, I’m just at the start of sharing all my beauty secrets, journeys, and experiences, so you and me have to test the waters. However, I truly feel like I can help you to get closer to your most desirable skin. SK-II definitely helped me in that process, and I’m excited to keep using it to see how my skin continues to transform.
